Free school parking poem by Daphne Tore
Free school parking, a poem written by Daphne Tore / Dean Thorpe
It once was free, but now they do charge
The amount is small, but adds up quite large
April fools, what a perfect day to start
Pay for an hour, but only need a part
To drop off our kids, near to the school
To get them there safe, protect them all
They charge us all, even the disabled
Parents and workers, we are all labelled
So please be kind, just give us a break
Give us somewhere, for our cars to wait
It is not so much, that we ask of you
This poem is over, so what will you do?
